About The DJs Jodie Boyte Boyte Booking DJs features nationally recognized DJ Jodie Boyte. Jodie started Boyte Booking in the very beginning and continues to strive for excellence in the mobile DJ industry through professional and quality DJ entertainment. Jodie performs between 50 and 70 shows annually including elegant wedding receptions, energetic school dances, corporate functions, private parties, and special events. In addition to mobile DJ work, Jodie works as a professional master of ceremonies and does voice over work and has been a professional singer for 10 years+. Jodie began work as a disc jockey in junior high working for her junior high and high school events. Her parents also owned an Entertainment company where she did a lot of her work. It was here Jodie found her calling to entertain people and program music. Early in college, Jodie was hired as the Assistant Personnel Manager for Ultimate Entertainment. Her extensive music knowledge and management skills landed her the position. The position also helped build information about different music styles further learning about different genres. Jodie graduated from The High School For Performing And Visual Arts. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in radio. Some of Houston's finest radio announcers, broadcasters, and management teach at the school. Course focus included voice over,singing professionally, public speaking, and broadcasting which is evident in Mic presence at events.
